Inspection

A building inspection service is not only important but it is often required by law. If you do not get your building inspected you may find that you won’t be able to obtain the permit that you need to build on the land that you bought or to tear down the existing structure and rebuild.

There are certain regulations and code that inspectors know about that is not common knowledge to the general public. There are guidelines when building structures and the house you love might not be structurally sound. You would never know this without the help of a qualified and reputable inspector.

Pre‐purchase inspection

When buying a building of any age, size, or style, it is vital to be aware of its current condition. Our detailed inspection report will go over every aspect of the home’s current condition from foundation to roof, inside and out. This report will provide you with a valuable tool in the decision making process.

Pre‐listing inspection

Prior to listing a home for sale it is very important to be aware of any potential problems or maintenance issues that may be noted by the prospective buyer. With a professional home inspection of Evertech you can address and repair any potential problem before a buyer takes note of it and be well informed in the negotiation process.

Structural quality and general safety

We inspect the structural quality and general safety of the building. We specialize in structural steel or reinforced‐ concrete structures. Before construction begins, plan examiners determine (calculate) whether the plans for the building or other structure comply with building codes and whether they are suited to the engineering and environmental demands of the building site.

Also, in most cases, a home or other real property makes up a disproportionate share of the total estate value. Here too, an appraiser can help.  Often the first step in fairly disposing of an estate is to understand its true value.  Where property is involved, the appraiser can help determine the true value.  At this point, equitable arrangements can more easily be arrived at among disputing parties. Everyone walks away knowing they’ve received a fair deal.

In addition to structural characteristics, a primary concern is fire safety. We assess the type of construction, the building’s contents, adequacy of fire protection equipment, and any risks posed by adjoining buildings. The owner of a building or structure under construction employs specification inspectors to ensure that work is done according to design specifications. Specification inspectors represent the owner’s interests, not those of the general public.
